Sportsmen list schedule

A variety of outdoor-related events are being planned by Sinnemahoning Sportmen's Club.

Fruit tree pruning has been set for Saturday (March 29) at Forty Maples Campground in Sinnemahoning State Park. Those interested in helping should meet at the clubhouse at 9 am and depart for the state park at 9:30 pm.

Food and refreshments will be served afterwards.

"Women in the Wilds" has been set for June 20 and June 21 at the clubhouse. It's hosted by the National Wild Turkey Foundation.

Hunter and trapper education courses will be held July 26- 27. They're designed to instruct first-time hunters on safety, firearms, techniques and other aspects of the two outdoor sports.
