SENTENCINGS SCHEDULED Sentencing dates have been set for three defendants coming before Potter County Judge John B. Leete. Jeremy Dailey, 21, of Shinglehouse will be sentenced on April 9 after pleading guilty to receiving stolen property and providing alcohol to minors for two separate cases. He was arrested June 17 when Shinglehouse Borough Police went to his home while investigating another incident. Police located a stolen cooler at the residence. Three weeks later, Dailey was arrested on a charge of furnishing alcohol to minors. Authorities also found a shopping cart taken from a local retailer and nine road markers belonging to Clara Township. A Wellsville, N.Y., man will be sentenced April 2 after pleading guilty to possession of narcotics with intent to deliver. Roy Austin, 21, admitted to selling 18 grams of marijuana to an undercover agent in Genesee Township in February 2005. Also on April 2, Judge Leete will sentence a Coudersport resident who pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and various traffic charges. Derek Stout, 20, was arrested by state police following a one-vehicle crash last July in Sweden Township. His vehicle veered off the road, struck a utility pole and a large rock, crossed the highway and rolled onto its roof. Stout was found to have a blood alcohol content of .11 percent, in excess of the legal limit of .08 percent. |
