Dog obedience class planned

Six-week dog obedience classes will be held in Emporium this summer, sponsored by Penn State Cooperative Extension.

Course runs on June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24 and July 1 and July 8 in two different evening sessions, 5:30 to 6:30 or 6:30 to 7:30. Jim Clark from Cooperative Extension will instruct the classes at the Cameron County Fairgrounds.

Dogs must be six months or older and have proof of vaccination. Owners must bring a choke collar and leash to the first class. Aggressive canines will not be accepted.

Only 10 dogs will be accepted. Cost is $40 per dog.
