Science workshop to be held in Coudersport

A workshop showing how caregivers and parents can connect with kids through science will be held in Potter, Elk and McKean counties.

"Science for Young Thinkers" will be held in Coudersport on Thursday, April 24 at the Potter County Education Council office; in Ridgway on Monday, April 21 at the Courthouse annex; and in Smethport on Monday, April 28 at the Penn State Cooperative Extension office. Each class runs from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Class full-fills requirements for Dept. of Public Welfare training credits, Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and Act 48 hours.

It's a part of the Penn State Cooperative Extension Better Kid Care Program and partially funded by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare Office of Child Development.
