Bickford recognized at UPB
"Over the years, and over several shows, Seth became inventive and daring," said Dr. Kevin Ewert, associate professor of theater. "Last fall, as the title character in Uncle Vanya, Seth was able to bring down the house in laughter and quietly break our hearts in equal and impressive measure." "I'm extremely honored to be receiving the award," Bickford said. "Theater is my biggest interest on campus and to be recognized for my accomplishments is exciting." Bickford, son of Donald and Sandra Bickford, both of Emporium, is a 2004 graduate of Cameron County High School. Bickford has also been chosen by his classmates to talk about his academic and social experiences as a speaker at the annual Pitt-Bradford graduation dinner on Saturday, April 26. "My experience at Pitt-Bradford has been better than I could have imagined," he said. "I assumed that, being at a smaller school, I wouldn't be able to experience the same things as students who attend bigger schools." |
