COUNTY OFFICES SET TO MOVE After meeting with a consulting architect on possible uses of the former Coudersport Elementary School in downtown Coudersport, the Potter County Commissioners are preparing to assign space for relocation of many county offices to the building. Commissioners Doug Morley, Susan Kefover and Paul Heimel met Wednesday with a representative from LaBella and Associates to go over a revised set of floor plans for the former school, which was renamed the Gunzburger Building last year. Particulars of the plan will be available in the coming week, the commissioners said. Time Warner donated the property to Potter County after deciding to pull most of its operations out of Coudersport last year. With the acquisition, the former board of commissioners announced that a previous plan to build a multi-million dollar county office annex on the former Potter County Texaco lot, on East Second and North East streets, was being shelved. |
