Stan Dynda (left) gave an update on the housing market in Cameron County at this week's Emporium Rotary meeting. He was the guest of program chair Bryan Good (right) of Good Real Estate in Emporium. A broker for more than 35 years, Dynda pointed out that housing sales have improved in 2008 after a downturn. Meanwhile, approximately 90 homes are for sale. In other news, the club agreed to purchase a hammock swing seat for the autistic and handicapped to be placed at the Woodland Elementary School playground. Rotary also donated $50 each to the American Cancer Society for its Relay for Life and to Community Nurses Inc. Emporium Borough Manager Don Reed was accepted as a member.
