Coudy bracing for CCHS game
Coudersport has posted 5-0 record in high school baseball, but the Falcons have not been truly "battletested," due to early season rainouts.

Brian Wetzel
Coach Doug McClintic's boys will face their stiffest challenge to date on Friday afternoon when the Cameron County Red Raiders (8-0) invade CARP Field for a make-up game.

The same two teams will meet again on Wednesday in Emporium.

In between, Smethport pays a visit to Coudersport on Saturday.

Coudersport tuned up for the showdown with a 13-0 win

at Port Allegany on Tuesday. Pitcher Brian Wetzel went the distance, allowing just three hits and walking two.

Eric Babcock, Andrew Mickle and Bret Metzger each had two hits for the Falcons.

Last Thursday, Babcock slammed a home run and two doubles, Zach Buckler had three hits and Metzger homered and singled in the Falcons' 14-1 win over visiting Oswayo Valley. Wetzel and Brett Whitman shared mound duties.
