Coudersport Rotary sponsoring two abroad

Despite declining membership and financial struggles, Coudersport Rotary Club recently announced that it will be able to sponsor two area young people for trips abroad through the Rotary Exchange Program.

Kaitland Reed, daughter of Jim and Misty Reed, will spend a year living and studying in Thailand. Moriah Kelley, daughter of Dr. William and Pamela Kelley, will be spending her year in Belgium.

Rotarians expressed their appreciation to all those who supported the recent benefit auction.

"The results were outstanding and were just what we needed to continue our service programs," said Club President Bob "Smitty" Smith.

Smith once again put out a call for new members. For additional information, contact Smith at 274-8853 or smitty@zitomedia.net, or Steve Symans at 274-7107.
