Food safety course in Port A.

A two-day food safety workshop will be held in Port Allegany on May 15 and May 29.

The ServSafe program runs from 9 am to 5 pm at the Potter County Education Council center, 8 N. Main Street.

The course meets certification requirements food handlers in restaurants, schools, elder care facilities, lodges, bed and breakfasts, community centers, and other food concessions.

Cost is $180, which includes a textbook.
