Computer classes in Port

Computer classes are being held next week in Port Allegany, sponsored by the Potter County Education Council.

Here's the schedule: Monday, May 5, Windows XP, 6-9 pm; Tuesday, May 6, FrontPage 1, 9 am-noon; FrontPage 2, 1-4 pm; Wednesday, May 7, Word 4, 6-9 pm; May 8, Publisher 1, 9 am-noon; Publisher 2, 1-4 pm; May 13, Windows XP, 9 amnoon; Word 1, 1-4 pm; May 15, Outlook 1, 9am-noon; Access 1, 1-4 pm.

Also, May 20, Word 2, 9 amnoon; Excel 2, 1-4 pm; May 22, Outlook 1, 9 am-noon; Outlook 2, 1-4 pm; Excel 4, 6-9 pm; May 27, Internet 1, 9 am-noon, Internet 2, 1-4 pm; PowerPoint 1, 6-9 pm; May 28, PowerPoint 2, 6- 9 pm; May 29, Advanced Access, 9 am-noon; Vista, 1-4 pm.

Classes will take place at the Education Council office, 8 N. Main Street. Cost per class is $38 and includes a textbook. Government employees or officials in Potter or McKean counties can qualify to take the classes at no charge.
