Although the threat of rain hung over last weekend's Potter Tioga Maple Festival, Mother Nature smiled on Coudersport. Traditions such as the Maple Sweetheart Parade and the judging of maple products went off without a hitch. Lana Benson, representing Coudersport Area High School, was crowned as Potter County Maple Sweetheart. Stephanie Herron of Elkland High School was chosen as Tioga County Maple Sweetheart. Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the festival, in conjunction with the Potter-Tioga Maple Producers Assn.
