Boat ride for mothers at Sinnemahoning

Moms can ride for free and receive a small gift as part of a Mother's Day pontoon boat excursion Sunday at Sinnemahoning State Park.

The 45-minute tour explores the George B Stevenson Dam, wetlands and wildlife, with a focus on bald eagles. There are three different times to ride: noon, 1:30 pm and 3 pm. Participants should be at boat launch area five minutes before departure.

Eighteen seats are available and reservations can be made by calling 647-8401. Sign-ups are also being taken at the park office until noon or at the tent at the boat launching area.
