Ham, leek dinner set for Saturday

A springtime tradition, the annual Germania Ham and Leek Dinner, returns for its 56th engagement today (Saturday) in that small southeastern Potter County community.

The smorgasbord that draws hundreds from throughout the region and far into downstate Pennsylvania is sponsored by the Germania Fire Company, the county's oldest volunteer firefighting organization.

Serving begins at 3:30 pm and continues until supplies run out or all are served.
