TORONTO BAND TO PERFORM

A special band from Toronto will come south for a memorable night of music on Friday, May 23, at the Coudersport High School auditorium. Potter County Fine Arts Council has hooked with the Pa. Council on the Arts and Northern Tier Cultural Alliance to land Enter The Haggis. Under the strong influence of traditional Celtic music, Enter The Haggis uses fiddle, drums and pipes to launch a musical journey that includes influences of rock, fusion, bluegrass, folk, even Latin flavors. It's a blend that has appealed to a wide audience, from college campuses to city concert halls in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The program begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets, at $12 for adults and $7 for students, are available at the 2nd Street Roost and Olga's Living with Art in Coudersport.
