Red Raider girls win slug fest against Port A.

Cameron County outlasted Port Allegany, 10-7, in a wild varsity softball game on the Gators' diamond Wednesday.

Diana Orner had three hits, including a triple, while Courtney Glover tripled and singled to lead the Red Raiders' ninehit attack. Tasha Smith was the winning pitcher.

Last Friday, Kane had too much firepower in its bats, as the Wolves rolled to a 13- 3 win over Cameron County. Smith had the Raiders' only extra-base hit, a double. Starter Danika Grom was tagged with the loss.

Cameron County closes out its season next week with home games on Monday (Smethport) and Thursday (Northern Potter), followed by a trip to Otto-Eldred on Thursday.
