      A ham and leek dinner will be held Saturday from noon until 5 pm at the First Baptist Church on North Broad Street in Emporium. Ham, leeks, potatoes, dessert and beverages will be served. A free will offering, suggested at $6.00, will be accepted.

      Applications are being accepted for pre-school at the First Presbyterian Church in Emporium. Non-denominational, Christian classes will be held from 9 to 11:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
