Child safety seat check slated

State police at the Emporium barracks will promote the use of child safety seats during a free checkup session on Wednesday, May 28.

Motorists are encouraged to visit the barracks between 8 am and 1 pm to have their equipment checked for legal requirements and safety assurance.

If possible, those attending should bring a vehicle manual and child seat instructions. The check should take approximately 20 minutes. Additional information is available at 486-3321.
