Fishing derbies this weekend

A Kids' Fishing Derby is scheduled for Saturday at Brooks Run, north of George B. Stevenson Dam off Rt. 872.

Registration will start at 9 am, with the derby running from 10 to noon.

This event, sponsored by the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club, is open to children under age 13.

Food and refreshments will be available.

Members of the East Fork Sportsmen's Club will hold their annual Kids Fishing Derby on Sunday. A chicken barbecue will be held the same day.
