Alle-Catts play Sunday

Emporium improved to 2-0 in Alle-Catt Amateur Baseball League competition with another lopsided win last week, while Austin (1-0) saw its historic home debut rained out.
Both teams are in action over the holiday weekend.
Crosby comes to Austin's Gary Williams Memorial Field on Sunday for a 2 pm game, marking the first time the community has hosted an Alle-Catt game in more than a quarter-century.
Emporium travels to Shinglehouse Sunday for a 2 pm showdown.
Last week, the Emporium squad took care of Olean AOH, 11-1. Ralph McKimm
pitched a complete
game, striking out nine, while scattering six hits and five walks.
Garrett Hornung, doing double-duty this month as both a high school and Alle-Catt player, had a triple, two doubles and a single to lead a potent offensive attack for the Cats.
Another high school player, Jordan Crane, stroked a double and
two singles. Rick Uber added three hits, while Paul Baker smacked a pair of singles and Drew Tompkins doubled.
