Davis honored for UPB's newspaper

Alex Davis

Alex Davis from Emporium was part of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford team that won second place in the recent American Scholastic Press Association's annual newspaper competition.

Davis, a freshman public relations major, was assistant managing editor of the campus newspaper, The Source.

He's working this summer as an editor and news director at Endeavor News. Davis has aspirations of starting his own newspaper. He has reported for several area newspapers since his sophomore year at Cameron County High School.
