Marathon slated June 7

The 34th annual God's Country Marathon will be held Saturday, June 7, on the usual Galeton to Coudersport course.

Organizers are looking for volunteers. Anyone interested in helping should contact Kim Mitchell at 274-7177 or 274- 0843.

The marathon is sponsored by the Potter County Visitors Association. Runners will step off at the Galeton Area School at 8 am and follow Rt. 6 to Coudersport. First runner will arrive at the finish line sometime around 10:40 am.

Spectators are welcome to turn out and cheer on the runners along the course or at the finish line.
