Austin girls 8-2 in softball

Austin rebounded from a rare defeat in Potter- McKean Little League softball action by pounding Custer City, 19-8.

Hannah Glover had five hits, including a pair of triples, and Cheyenne Kio cracked four hits and drove in six runs for the winners.

Those two shared mound duties, combining on a three-hitter.

Emily Simms added four hits and Jesse Riedmiller had three hits and fpur RBI for Austin (8-2).
