FLIPPING OUT FOR FUN
Cameron County Community Pool provided welcome relief for a regional heat wave when it opened this week. Operating hours are 11:30 am to 7 pm. Here, Dylan Reed, 11, does a back flip into the pool while his friends look on in awe. Sizerville State Park's pool is also now open from 11 am to 7 pm daily. The pool will close in mid-July before work gets underway on a park improvement project. Thundershowers will provide some relief from the heat this weekend, but temperatures are still expected to stay in the mid-80s.
