Carnival set to open Monday in Emporium

A carnival moves into downtown Emporium this weekend for the annual Old Home Week observance, sponsored as a fund-raiser and community service by Cameron County Little League.

As always, rides, booths and concessions will be set up on South Broad Street from Monday through next Saturday.

Bartlebaugh Amusements will set up rides and games. Little League will run bingo and a concession stand.

Advance-sale tickets for the rides are available for reduced prices -- $5.00 for a strip of six -- at Northwest Savings Bank, Reid's Hometown Emporium, Knights of Columbus Hall, or the Little League field.
