Golden Anniversary

One of Emporium's most well-known couples, John and Linda Reid, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last weekend. Family and friends held a surprise 50th anniversary party at the Emporium Firehall Saturday.

John and Linda Reid tied the knot on June 14, 1958, at the First United Methodist Church in Emporium.

They have three children, Laura (Reid) Riggin of Cranberry Township; Mike Reid and Wendy (Reid) Davis, both of Emporium.
