Fair announces poster winners

Cameron County Fair Association announces winners for its annual poster contest.

Fifth- and sixth-grade students at Woodland Elementary School participated during the school year.

Ruth Ann Phillips won first place. Her drawing will appear on the cover of the fair premium book. Runners-up were Elise Grovanz and Cassidy Smith.

Posters will be on display during the fair Aug. 3-9.
