Clifford E. Akins
OCTOBER 7, 1988 - JUNE 14, 2008

Clifford E. Akins, 19, of Tannery Heights, Emporium, died Saturday (June 14, 2008), from

injuries sustained in an allterrain vehicle accident in Cameron County.

Born Oct. 7, 1988 in St. Marys, he was the son of David J. and Jane Farren Akins.

A lifelong resident of Emporium, Clifford was a 2007 graduate of Cameron County High School. Following his graduation, he was employed

for a time by South Park

Lumber and had most recently

been employed as a machine operator by Emporium Powdered Metals.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandfather, Clifford M. Akins of Emporium; one brother, David J. Akins, of Emporium; two sisters, Tina M. Akins of Bessemer and Victoria J. Akins of Emporium; and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Audrey Akins and his maternal grandparents, Vicki and Thomas Farren.

A memorial service will be held today (Saturday, June 21, 2008) at the Cameron County Christian Center, Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Rock Pifer officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home.
