Shinglehouse wins LL title

Shinglehouse pulled off a rare feat in Potter-McKean Little League baseball, sweeping through the season with a perfect 15-0 record.

Manager Rod Nolan went out as a winner in this, his 11th and final season at the helm, and his team put an exclamation point on his stint with a season-ended 19-1 win over Coudersport Purple Monday night. Jake Wichert cracked two home runs and drove in six runs, all in one inning.

Several Potter-McKean players now turn their attention to district all-star competition, which gets underway soon.
