Art Center will open Tuesday

At least 10 artists will showcase their works when the Cameron County Artisan Center opens on Tuesday.

Cameron County Chamber of Chamber office and an art co-op are sharing space in the former Lundberg Pharmacy on Fourth Street in Emporium.

Juried artists will teach classes on stained glass, drawing, painting, wood carving, glass blowing and jewelry making. They'll also sell their works. Cameron County Chamber of Commerce and Artisan Center will be open Monday through Friday from 9-3, plus some selected Saturdays, including July 5. The office will distribute free information on events in Cameron County and brochures from area businesses. For more information, call 486-4314.
