Hunting licences on sale Pennsylvania hunting licenses are now on sale through the Game Commission website, pgc.state.pa.us. They're also available from designated issuing agents throughout the state. Fees remain the same as they have been since the 1999-2000 license year: $20 for adults; $6 for junior hunters; and $13 for senior citizens. Several other license options - combination, lifetime, military, etc. - are also available. Other resident license fees are: antlerless deer (Wildlife Management Unit specific), $6; archery, $16; muzzleloader, $11; bear, $16; migratory game bird, $3; and resident landowner, $4. For the second year, the Game Commission will offer hunters the opportunity to purchase a special wild turkey license, which sells for $21 for residents and $41 for non-residents. Interested hunters also may apply for the upcoming limited bobcat and elk seasons via the website or by mailing the applications that come with the hunting digest issued with each license. Resident hunters may begin applying for an antlerless license on Monday, Aug. 4. Those who purchase a general hunting license are provided with a regular antlerless deer license application. |
