Rev. Simpson salute July 27

A community celebration will be held on Sunday, July 27, to honor Rev. Dwight Simpson, who retired earlier this year from his service at the Faith Baptist Church on Rich Valley Road in Emporium.

Cameron County Ministerium Association is hosting the reception at 6 pm at the Emporium Firehall. Rev. Simpson was a spiritual leader in the area for a quarter-century. He now resides in Maryland.

Parishioners and others are encouraged to write a note or story about Rev. Simpson and how he has touched their lives. These should be sent by July 15 to Rev. James Eastman, 1945 Moore Hill Road, Emporium PA 15834.
