Two years since stream pollution
      This past Monday marked the two-year anniversary of the train derailment and sodium hydroxide spill in Gardeau. The pollution caused heavy fish kills along approximately 30 miles of streams in the Sinnemahoning Creek watershed.

Sizerville pool remains open
      A construction project that would have temporarily closed the swimming pool at Sizerville State Park this month has been stalled. A spokesperson at the park said rest rooms will be renovated in September. Meanwhile, the pool will remain open from 11 am to 7 pm daily through Labor Day.

'Music and Stars' Friday at Cherry Springs
