Youth football camp July 15-16 in Coudersport

Coudersport Area High School football coaching staff is holding a youth football camp at Metzger Field, next to the high school, to teach basic skills and rules of the game.

Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15-16, from 8 am to noon and are open to anyone entering grades four through seven in the upcoming school year.

The $10 fee includes a Tshirt for all participants and an invitation to a cookout on the Wednesday afternoon following the final camp session.

Signup sheets are available at the Coudersport High School office. Signups will also be available on the camp's opening day.

This is a non-contact camp to introduce the game of football. There will be drills, instruction, rules discussions and games.

Head football coach Brendan Hathaway will lead the instruction, with help from assistant coaches, current and recent varsity football players.
