LL softball team pulls out D15 win

Potter-McKean pulled out a dramatic 10-8 win over Blue Ridge Tuesday night in a Pa. District 15 Little League softball showdown at Mansfield.

A trio of pitchers, Kira Nolder, Kiersten Counts and Hannah Glover, held Blue Ridge to just three hits, but issued 11 walks.

Glover had two of Potter- McKean's six hits and drove in two runs. Mia Glover contributed an RBI triple.

In Friday's opening round of District 15 play, Potter-McKean was circling the bases all night long in a 34-1 triumph over Towanda.

Rachel Taylor had three triples, two singles and seven RBI. Jesse Reidmiller had a pair of inside-the-park homers, two singles and plated a whopping 11 runs.

On the mound, Counts limited Towanda to three hits and helped her cause with a double and four RBI.
