      Yankee Doodle went to town riding on a pony. He had to, with gas at more than four bucks a gallon. We sell the Arabs wheat for seven dollars a bushel and they, in turn, sell us their oil for umpteen dollars a barrel. Let's shut off the wheat and see if they can eat their oil.

      This weekend I'll don a dark blue wool uniform and a kepi as I fight for the North during the turning point of the Civil War at Gettysburg. It will be my first time as a re-enactor, joining 10,000 others as we relive the historic battle from July 1-3, 1863.
