'Herbal Fair' set July 19-20 Natural products, from herbs to cosmetics to vegetables, will be spotlighted during the third annual Mountain Thyme Herbal Fair, to be held at Cherry Springs State Park July 19- 20, from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Admission is free. More people are looking for natural alternatives to the chemical products found in commercial soaps, lotions, oils, cleaning products and personal care items. There's also a growing interest in healthful herbs and organic, chemical-free compounds. Vendors will be selling natural products, while informational programs will be presented on wild plants and flowers, as well as plant use and identification. Children's activities and live folk music are also part of the fair. A blacksmith, jewelrymaker and maple vendor will be on hand.
