Scarnati to meet with business leaders
SENATOR TO BE IN TOWN WEDNESDAY

One of the Pa. General Assembly's most influential members will host a luncheon for Emporium area business leaders on Wednesday.

State Senator Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati will host an invitation only small business meeting at noon at the Cabin Kitchen on Fourth Street.

"Senator Scarnati likes to maintain a bond with the business community," said former Cameron County Commissioner Tony Moscato, who is organizing the luncheon. "He understands what business owners go through."

Scarnati will also discuss the recently passed 2008-09 state budget.

After the meeting he will make a ceremonial check presentation to cover paving costs at the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library parking lot.

The senator will also tour Micron, an Emporium factory that produces graphite, and meet with the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce and the Cameron County Collaborative Board.
