Guided elk tours set
      Keystone Trails Association has teamed with the Pa. Forestry Bureau to promote hiking through "Prowl the Sproul," set for next Friday through Sunday. It's an organized hiking event on at least 12 of the most popular trails in Sproul and neighboring Susquehannock state forests.

      Bucktail Rod and Gun Club on Sizer Run Road, near Emporium, is holding a hunter and trapper education course July 28 through Aug. 1, from 5:30 to 8 each evening. Students must attend all five sessions to be eligible for certification. Registration will be held at the July 28 session.
