Lyman Lake beach party Saturday

After years of no lake at Lyman Run State Park, the beach is now open and the park is having a family party to celebrate this Saturday evening.

Weather permitting, join us in the sand for an evening of fun and frolic at Lyman Beach.

There will be beach volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, a sand-sculpting contest, a "Welcome Back to the Lake" poster contest, scavenger hunt, water balloon toss, relay races and a hula hoop dance-off.

Prizes will be awarded and the winning poster will be displayed around Potter County. Party time is from 7 pm until 11 pm. Swimming will be permitted until dark. Additional information is available from the park office at 435-5010.
