Guided elk tours set

Keystone Trails Association has teamed with the Pa. Forestry Bureau to promote hiking through "Prowl the Sproul," set for next Friday through Sunday.

It's an organized hiking event on at least 12 of the most popular trails in Sproul and neighboring Susquehannock state forests.

Hikes are planned to accommodate novices, experienced hikers, runners and kayakers.

Selected trails include Chuck Keiper, Donut Hole, Garby, Hammersly Fork Wild Area, Susquehannock Trail System and the Kettle Creek Day Loop Trail.
