Visitors group plans promotions

Potter County Visitors Association (PCVA) continues its work in promoting travel and tourism in the region.

At the PCVA annual dinner last month, Merlin Benner of Nature Quest Inc. discussed development of travel packages. PCVA will be working with Nature Quest to create and market the packages.

PCVA Executive Director David Brooks said the plan has good potential and businesses interested in participating should contact him. Guides may also be needed.

Advertising opportunities are available in a Pa. Route 6 Travel Guide, called "Take the High Road." About 200,000 copies will be distributed nationally.

A new Potter County Visitors Guide is now available to the public. Copies are available at the PCVA office.
