'Potter Players' workshops

Recruitment for the resurrected theatrical group, Potter Players, is underway.

Basic training in acting and the performing arts will soon be available through an Actors Workshop at the Potter County Education Council office in Coudersport.

Four three-hour sessions will cover basic skills, including walking, pantomime, gestures and voice; actors goals and tasks; actor trinity (mind-body-voice); and performance.

Classes will be held Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30, beginning July 31 and continuing through Aug. 21. Cost is $50; financial assistance is available.
