More than 100 gifts will be distributed to children of Cameron County for Christmas, thanks to the efforts of area motorcyclists.
Endless Mountains Chapter of ABATE hosted the "Christmas in July" event Saturday at the Cameron County Christian Center.
"Many kids in Cameron County would be without a Christmas gift if we did not do this," said organizer Deb Gabor.
Activities included face painting and fun on a water slide. Santa Claus cruised in on a motorcycle.
About 50 people brought presents and set them under the Christmas tree outside the center.
Gifts are still being collected and can be donated by calling the Christian Center at 486-1841.
Gabor expressed appreciation to the Rev. Rock Pifer for allowing the group to use the former Fourth Street School yard in Emporium.
