Help for returning vets

A meeting to organize community support for military veterans is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18, in Coudersport.

A project of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the meeting will be held at the Potter County Education Council office at Main and Third streets starting at 7 pm. The public is welcome and refreshments will be available.

According to Ilene Altenhein from the DAR Allegewi Chapter, the goal is to gather together individuals who can help to identify and address issues of concern to veterans and their families.
