CANDIDATE DEBATE OCT. 7

Cameron County has been chosen as the site of a forum featuring the two major party candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Democrat Mark McCracken and Republican Glenn Thompson will appear at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce office in Emporium.

They were nominated in May to fill the Pa. 5th District seat being vacated by Rep. John Peterson at the end of the year. Votes will be cast on Nov. 4.

Cameron County's Republican and Democrat committees have teamed with the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce to sponsor the forum, which is open to the public.
