Anniversary Celebration
Mr. & Mrs. McGraw
      A 60th wedding anniversary celebration for Barbara and Lloyd McGraw of Emporium will be held on Sunday during an open house at the First United Methodist Church. The former Barbara Schnee of Emporium married Lloyd McGraw of Bakersfi eld, Calif., on Jan. 22, 1949, in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Emporium. They have resided in Emporium ever since.

LIONS CLUB PLANNING CHILI DINNER
      Coudersport Area Lions Club will go to bat for the Potter County "Meals on Wheels" program once again with its third annual chili and dessert dinner, to be held on Sunday at the Coudersport Firehall. The home-delivered meals program, operated by Potter County Human Services, has a waiting list as a result of funding limitations.

SPCA ASKING FOR DONATIONS
      Cameron County SPCA has put out a call for donations of food, blankets and money. Donations can be dropped off at Olivett's Shurfine Food Mart on Third Street in Emporium and the Emporium Municipal Building on Broad Street, or call 486-0101 for pick up.

WILLIAMS IN HONOR SOCIETY
      Coudersport Area High School graduate Monica Williams was one of eight students inducted into the prestigious Chi Sigma Iota international honor society at St. Bonaventure University. Membership is open to outstanding scholars in the counseling curriculum.

GRAUDATES CUM LAUDE
     Aarron Hunsinger graduated cum laude from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is the son on Jerry and Dale Hunsinger of Austin. Commencement took place on Saturday, December 13, 2008. Aarron is a member Delta Mu Delta, the International Honor Society in Business. In January, he will begin graduate studies in Student Personnel: College Counseling at the university's school of education.

      Laura and Thomas Tarr and Michael Zerbe, all of Emporium, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Zerbe, to Kevin Wright. He is the son of Shirley Blythe and David Wright of Franklin, Va. Sarah is a physical therapist. Kevin is self-employed. Both reside in Franklin, Va.

      A home health care provider recently relocated to a more prominent location in Emporium. Community Nurses Inc. is headquartered in the same building as Dr. Dean Stokes at 275 East Fourth Street. The agency was previously located on Chestnut Street.

Birth Announcements
      Micah Coppock A son was born Dec. 22, 2008, in DuBois Regional Medical Center to Christopher and Katie Coppock. Micah Christopher Coppock weighed seven pounds, 14 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Alan and Cindy Ramsey of Emporium, and paternal grandparents are John and Laural Coppock, also from Emporium.
