Cameron County continued its domination of the Northern Tier Boys' Basketball League Wednesday night with an impressive performance at Smethport. Dan Sullivan scored 22 points and Chris Barnett added 16 as the Raiders rolled to a 73-33 win. More ... Cameron County High School senior Andy Beer has been named to the second team for the Associated Press All- State Football Awards. A six-foot-two, 185-pound lineman, Beer was selected for the defensive all-stars. More ... Veteran bowler Bob Foster did it again - twice! Foster spilled a stellar 706 series in Sunday Night Mixed action at Mountain View Bowling Center. He also exploded for a 717 in the Men's Bucktail circuit. Scott Lewis joined Foster on the honor roll that night with a sparkling 701. More ... Several members of the Cameron County High School wrestling team made a strong showing after a long trip top the Lewistown Tournament last weekend. In team results, the Red Raiders were 1-4, beating Moorefield, W. Va, 42-27. Cameron County has been without the services of two senior standouts, Randy Schatz and Mike Baker, due to injury. More ... Cameron County's girls host two varsity basketball games in the coming week, with Port Allegany arriving on Monday and league-leading Coudersport coming on Friday. The Red Raiders have been flirting with the .500 mark after an 0-3 start. They have been competitive in all but a handful of their first 14 games.
