Where are the fawns?
      For about a week it seemed that just about everyone that I have run into has asked, "Have you seen a newborn fawn yet?" The answer had been no. In other years, I had seen fawns as early as May 10. I knew things would change any day. Then this past Tuesday, on May 26, it happened.

Pro Rally racin gets underway Friday
      Internationally known car racers from several states will be arriving in the Wellsboro area soon for the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR), to be held next weekend on more than 100 miles of state forest roads in Tioga and Potter counties.

Pontoon rides start June 7
      Sinnemahoning State Park will hold pontoon boat excursions on Sunday, June 7. Enjoy a relaxing and scenic 45 minute tour of the dam, explore wetlands and view the Bald Eagles. Rides begin at noon, 1:30 and 3 pm. The pontoon boat has 18 available seats. Reservations will be taken by calling the park office, or sign up at the park office until noon.
