Colleen Ramsey and her grandmother, Evelyn Allen, were among the more than 100 cancer survivors who were special guests at the American Cancer Society Relay for Life last weekend in Coudersport. Ramsey's entire family came out Friday night to participate in the Survivors' ceremony, even bringing their Kawasaki mule and golf cart to help transport those who couldn't walk around the track. Potter County will proceed with several capital projects through a $350,000 loan from Northwest Savings Bank, following action at Thursday's business meeting of the County Commissioners. Potter-McKean opened the Pa. District 15 softball playoffs last week with a pair of losses, 12-11 to Southern Tioga and 11-1 to Wellsboro. The 11- and 12-year-old all-stars were due to play Northeast Bradford (0-3) in the next round of pool play on Thursday. Results weren't available by press time.
